David G. Jones, the founder and president, has been performing home inspections since 1983. He started Expert Inspection Service, Inc, in 1989, and has personally performed over 9000 inspections in the greater Triangle area.
Educational background
Attended North Carolina State University, and after basic studies in mechanical engineering and architecture, graduated in 1971 with a professional degree in product design.
Since becoming an inspector, he has taken over 500 hours of continuing education courses related to home inspections, residential construction, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and has written and taught continuing educations courses about inspecting and report writing.
